Seasonal allergy season is here or for some just around the corner. Intolerances are inappropriate immune responses to substances, this can be environmental or food. Allergies and intolerances can present in a variety of different ways. They can manifest as congestion, eye-watering, sneezing, digestive issues, joint pain, skin issues, fatigue, the list goes on and on. The important factor is that substance is causing the immune system to react and inflammation to occur. Individuals that have been suffering from allergies or intolerances for years and trying to avoid them or taking antihistamines to suppress symptoms should be aware there are treatments to eliminate these allergies.

Allergy injections are also offered at the clinic they are a combination that works to bring balance to the body and reduce the over-reaction the body is experiencing when exposed to an allergen. The protocol is generally a series of 3 injections, each injection occurs one week apart. In my clinical experience, individuals start noticing relief of their allergies after the second injection. They do not have any side effects and are a very safe alternative.

Another option for allergies and I would call it the gold standard I use in practice is called NAET. It is an allergy elimination treatment, it works by retraining the body’s immune system to no longer react to those substances. This treatment is very safe and non-invasive it can be used for individuals of any age. If you or someone you know is tired of using anti-histamines during the spring/summer month or just avoids the outdoors altogether, either of these can be a great option. Stop avoiding and suppressing and start enjoying nature! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy spring!
